Project Flow

Before you submit a Job:

If this is my first time scoping for you, please complete the Style Preference Sheet prior to sending your job. This is important, as it enables me to follow your specific style preferences on every job I do for you so you get it back exactly the way you like it.

Submitting a Job for Scoping:

Contact me with the page count, job type and requested due date to confirm my availability. If I am available, I will request that you send me the job for review. I will then e-mail you the confirmation if I am able to accept the job. For first-time clients, I will only accept a job of 50 pages or less with standard turnaround time for the first transcript so that we can make sure we will work well together.

You can send your job files to me through Dropbox or SendThisFile, and ancillary files (Exhibits, word lists, etc.) through email.

If I accept the job, my confirmation email will include the page rate, estimated final cost quote and delivery date. Your turnaround time begins when I accept the job. If I receive a job request after 1:00 p.m. EST, your turnaround time will begin at 8:00 a.m. the following business day.

Delivery:

The final scoped files delivered to you will have any necessary or unresolved scanstops, carats, and conflicts flagged for your quick and easy final decision. I keep flags to a minimum to respect your final edit time. If you prefer that these items be indicated by hidden comment line instead, please indicate that on your Style Preference Sheet.
